Mrs. Dortha Mae Tuggle, 89, of Riverview, MI, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Beaumont Hospital, Trenton. She was the daughter of the late William and Nora Shelton Wright born on July 3, 1932 at Boone Height.
Dortha was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith. In earlier years, she enjoyed sewing and baking.
On October 29, 1955, she united in marriage with Paul Tuggle and to this union a daughter was born.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; three sisters, Opal, Elsie and Jewel and five brothers, Tip, Stanley, Dewey, Oda and Glen.
Survivors include a beloved daughter, Delores Tuggle and fiancé, Ricky McMahan of Riverview, MI; a brother, Charles Wright of Corbin; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Family and friends will gather at the Patterson Cemetery Friday, May 13 at 5:30 P.M. for a graveside service with Rev. Duke Hammons officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
