Donnie Edward Chaffin, age 78, of Corbin, KY, passed away January 19, 2021, at Baptist Health of Corbin.
Donnie was born October 29, 1942, in Pineville, KY to the late Ulysses Grant Chaffin and Virginia Herren Chaffin.
Donnie was a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church in Corbin, KY.
He is survived by three children: James Douglas Chaffin, Dale Chaffin (Tina), Dawn Michelle Tirey (Brad) all of Corbin, KY; one sister: Jana Greene of NC; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In Addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Sharon Adams and Diana Bouharb.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at O’Neil-Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, KY.
Visitation Services will be from Noon to 1 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the O’Neil- Lawson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Grandchildren.
