Obituary for Don Wayne “Pink Floyd” Roark (1958-2019)

Mr. Don Wayne “Pink Floyd” Roark, age 61 of Essie, KY was born in Roark, KY on April 29, 1958 to the late Caleb and Mollie Hensley Collett and departed this life on December 9, 2019 in the UK Medical Center in Lexington.  He was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed being outdoors, 4-wheeling, and time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, his wife: Emmie Lynn Roark; a daughter: Shannon Collins; and a host of brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

He is survived by his loving children: Don Roark and wife Kaitlyn of London, Brian Roark and wife Ashley, Sammy Neace, Rebecca Roberts, Kristen Roark and husband Brian all of Big Creek, Jeremy Sizemore, John Asher, and Chasity Sizemore and husband Darren all of Roark, Donna Smallwood-Waldo of Goose Rock, and Alice Smith of Manchester; a brother: Caleb Collett, Jr. and wife Brenda of Roark, KY; 2 sisters: Linda Caldwell and Oma Collins both of Essie, KY; 2 special nieces: Mollie Roark and Carla Caldwell; 25 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Arrangements for Mr. Don Roark are incomplete at this time but will be announced later by the Barbourville Funeral Home.  The family requests in lieu of flowers donation be made to the Funeral Home to assist with the expenses.
