Mr. Dewey Bowling, Jr. age 67 of Lily, KY was born in Hyden, KY on April 17, 1952 to the late Dewey Bowling, Sr. and Victoria Couch Bowling and departed this life on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at his home. He was a member of Old Ark House of Prayer Church and enjoyed watching TV, working on automobiles taking joy rides, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, 4 brothers: Barney Bowling, Joe Edward Bowling, Larry Lee Bowling, and Donnie Ray Bowling, and 1 sister: Stella Jean Catchings preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving children: Timothy Bowling, Jack Crump and wife Angela all of Ohio, Angel Bowling of Lily, Barbara Stroder of Elkhart, IN, and Shelia Henson and Chasity Bowling both of MI; 2 step children: Dalton Fields and Brandy Fields both of Lily; a brother: Danny Wayne Bowling of Gray; 3 sisters: Della Jones and Sue Bowling all of London, and Mary Eversole and husband Rev. Charles Eversole of Barbourville; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Dewey Bowling, Jr. will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Charles Eversole, Rev. Roy Eversole, and Rev. Willie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Couch Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
