Mr. Denver Ray Abner, age 69 of Bryants Store, was born in Cincinnati, OH on March 14, 1950 to the late Bev and Rose Runyan Abner and departed this life on February 23, 2020 at his home. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed fishing, wood working, playing cards, shooting Pool, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, a son: Ryan “Cecil” Abner; and 2 sisters: Deann Abner and Linda Spann preceded him in death.
He is survived by his longtime companion: Velma Egner of Milford, OH; 2 sons: Chad Abner of Milford, OH and Robert Egner of Laura, OH; 3 grandchildren: Mathew Abner, Robbie Egner, and Landyn Abner; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Denver Abner will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Ronnie Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Croley Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Saturday Evening from 6 to 9 P.M. and Sunday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 2.
