Mrs. Delphia “Maggie” Nolen age 87 of Gray, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, October 6, 2023 at her residence. She is the daughter of Obie Brown and Nannie Rose Gray. She was born on August 7, 1936 in Barbourville, Kentucky. She was an entrepreneur of antiques, collectables and loved gardening, reading.
She is preceded in death by her parents Obie Brown and Nannie Rose Gray, her husband C.L. Nolen, two sons Wayne Nolen, Jamie Nolen, four siblings Ruth Gray, Roscoe Brown, Howard Brown, Versie Brown.
Left behind to mourn her passing, three children Earl Nolen and wife Sandy of Gray, Ky., Jerry Nolen and a special friend Beth of Gray, Ky., Nina Kidd of London, Ky. siblings Frances Brafford, Charlotte Christie, Bryant Brown, Tom Brown, Mitchell Brown, Joann Gray, Juanita Gray, Walter Brown, nine grandchildren Eric Nolen and wife Katie, Ashley Mullins and husband Matt, Shannon Priddy, Craig Kidd and wife Elizabeth, Jerry W. Nolen, Elisha Feger and husband Jim, Tosha Martinez and husband Jeff, and Amanda Polly and husband Jimmy, Sean Nolen, great-grandchildren Austin, Haylee, Molly, Madison, Jordan, Logan, Marissa, Keanu, Kendra, Cadyn, Hunter, Averee, Emilia, Peyton, Reagan, Savannah, Taylor, Colin, Shane, Bekli, Kaylen, great-great grandchildren Gabe Turner, Kai Nolen, former daughter-n-laws Tina, Jean, Cathy.
Funeral services for Mrs. Delphia “Maggie” Nolen will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Ron Mosher officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Calvary Cemetery in Gray, Ky. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, from 12:00 until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
