Mr. Delbert Burton Mills, 65, of Artemus, passed away Wednesday morning, November 13, 2024 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born on July 17, 1959 in Knox County to the late Carlo and Chelsea Abner Mills.
Delbert was a handy-man and a believer in the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed spending time out of doors squirrel hunting and fishing. Delbert was an avid UK fan and enjoyed watching both the football and basketball teams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Mills.
Survivors include his sisters, Brenda Hubbard and husband, Hershel, of Barbourville, Minnie Marcum of London, Judy Mills of Johnson County and Marie Adams and husband, James, of Girdler; brothers, Jessie Mills of Artemus and Lonnie Mills of London; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Tuesday, November 19 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Leslie Broughton officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Stansbury Cemetery in Corbin.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
