Dawson Clay Bingham age 23 of Barbourville, Kentucky departed this life on Thursday, April 27, 2023. He was born on September 23, 1999 in Corbin, Kentucky, the son of Michal Don Bingham and Teresa Elaine (Chadwell) Bingham. He was a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Anita Chadwell and Don I. and Erma Bingham, uncles Larry Chadwell, Carl Chadwell and Rick Hammons and his aunt, Eryleen Hammons.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his parents, Michael Don and Teresa Elaine Bingham, sister, Brooke Bingham and fiance’ Randall Pitts, brother, Brandon Bingham and fiance’ Kari Reed, uncles Ralph Chadwell, Jr. and wife Debbie and Chris Chadwell and wife Heather, aunts, Cathy Stovall and husband Chuck and Lisa Carmack and husband Wendell, nieces and nephews, Braydon Dakota Mills, Kylie Mills, Jordan Mills, Kadi Reed and Tyler Reed. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Dawson will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeffrey Branum and Rev. Mike Helton officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Chadwell Family Cemetery at Girdler. Pallbearers will be, Logan Smith, Austin Smith, Devente’ Valentine, Matthew Miller, Blaine Wyatt, Chris Pyle, Peyton Payne, Brady Worley, Dylan Trent, Jordan Phipps, Alex Stamper, Chad Carmack, Steven Bingham and Trey Chesnut. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in his memory.
