David James Hensley, age 67 of Gray was born in Knox County, KY on February 9, 1955 to the late Pearl Boyd and Beula Glenna Mason Hensley and departed this life on August 29, 2022 at his home. He was of the Holiness Faith and enjoyed working on cars and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, 2 children: Brenda Carrol Hensley and James Michael Hensley; and a brother: Larry Wayne Hensley preceded him in death.
David is survived by his loving wife of over 51 years: Ella Jean Hensley of Gray; a daughter: Donna Jean Napier and husband Lee of Lily; 4 brothers: Donnie Hensley, Robert Hensley and wife Deborah, and Timothy Hensley and wife Teresa all of Gray, and Glennis Hensley and wife Freda of Corbin; a sister: Virginia Ann White and husband George; 6 grandchildren: Jonathon, Mikey, Matthew, Daisey, Ella Ann, and Janna; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
A Graveside Service for Mr. David Hensley will be conducted in the Lynn Camp Cemetery on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. George Daniel White officiating. Burial will follow. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will gather at the Lynn Camp Cemetery Friday at 2.
