Mr. David Eunice Stevenson, 77, of Wheeler, passed away Tuesday morning, March 17, 2020 at the Northpoint Lexington Health Care Center. He was the son of the late Dave and Mossie Maynes Stevenson born on March 17, 1943 at Wheeler.
David was a former employee of Stewart Warner Manufacturing and attended the Warren Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, listening to music and was always on the go spending time with friends.
On April 7, 1976, he united in marriage with Evelyn Hembree and to this union two children were born.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by former in-laws, Lawnzo and Ann Hembree.
Survivors include two children, Amy Crawford and husband, Mark, of Cannon and Amanda Stevenson of Lexington; a sister, Wanda Partin of Wheeler; a brother, James Stephenson of Wheeler; a granddaughter, Melanie Eastridge and husband, Sam; great granddaughter, Jocelyn Eastridge; special friends, Dennis Miller and Jimmy Wayne Miller; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at the Barbourville Cemetery Saturday, March 21 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Lonnie Maiden officiating.
Casket bearers will be Mark Crawford, Kenny Crawford, Sam Eastridge and Casey Mills. Honorary bearers will be members of the Warren Baptist Church.
The family will be at the funeral home Friday between 6 and 8 P.M.
