Mr. Danny Patterson age 66 of Barbourville, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. He was the widower of Brenda (Parker) Patterson and the son of Dempsey and Addie May Patterson, born to them in Bell County, Kentucky on February 26, 1955.
Mr. Patterson believed in the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
He is preceded in death by his wife Brenda Lee (Parker) Patterson, his parents, Dempsey and Addie May Patterson, two brothers, James Dempsey “J.D.” Patterson and William Stanley Patterson, and one sister, Mildred Eldridge.
Left behind to mourn his passing, one son, Joseph Patterson and wife Diana of Corbin, two daughters, Amy Lynn Patterson of Barbourville and Emily Kay Kobayashi and husband Hiromichi of Katy, Texas, ten grandchildren, Jacob Lockard, Bridgette, Michaela Ashley Patterson, Kristen Nicole Ashlynn Patterson, Joseph Caillou Brendan Patterson, Alissa Louise Patterson, Emma Leigh Patterson, Madison Mieko Kobayashi, Jocelyn Akemi Kobayashi and Tristan Lee Kobayashi, three great-grandchildren, Aydenn Lee Faustino Gage Juarez, Natasha Maybelle Smith and Brooklynn Faith Smith, his companion, Linda Engle of Gray, Kentucky, three brothers, John Edward Patterson and Randall Wayne Patterson and wife Flora all of Rockholds and Bill Patterson and wife Brenda of Corbin, one sister, Cindy Elliott of Corbin. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Patterson will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Luke Day officiating. Pallbearers will be, John Mark Patterson, Kevin Wilbon, John Patterson, Jason Moore, Bill Patterson and Josh Patterson. He will be laid to rest in the Rose Cemetery on Walker Park Road. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
