Curtis Dean Gray age 42 of Barbourville, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Barbourville ARH. He was the son of Herman Gray and Roberta (Hubbard) Gray born to them on November 15, 1981 in Knox county. Curtis believed in the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Bluegrass Heritage Outdoors. He also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing. He also was an employee of the Mills Garbage Service.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas Gray, Leatha Smith, Bill and Lucy Hubbard.
Left behind to mourn his passing his wife Amanda Gray, three sons Zacharia Curtis Gray, Logan Dewayne Gray, Hunter Dewayne Gray, one sister Melissa Butler and husband Michael, one brother Jason Gray, a special nephew Easton Gray and several special friends Mark Bruner, Ivan Burnett, Braylen Richmond and all of his co-workers at Mills Garbage Service.
Funeral services for Curtis Gray will be held at the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Lonnie Collett and Rev. James Isom officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Gray Family Cemetery in Barbourville. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:00.
