Mr. Costello Bingham age 86 of Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, September 24, 2021 at his home. He was the widower of Eunice (Frederick) Bingham and the son of Bowman Bingham and Martha Jane (Hubbard) Bingham. He was born in Knox County on November 4, 1934. He had been a school bus driver for the Knox County Board of Education before retiring. He loved being with his family and taking care of his yard. In his early years he enjoyed fox hunting. He was a member of the Dewitt Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife Eunice Bingham, his parents, Bowman and Martha Bingham, a daughter, Sherry Kaye Bingham, one grandson, Justin Baker, one great grandson, Joshua Taylor, one son-in-law, William Taylor and his brothers and sisters, Hugh Bob Bingham, Claire Gray, Eva Wheat, Gracie Davis and Lida Hicks.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his children, Arlene Baker of Science Hill, Kentucky, Danny Bingham and wife Brenda Kaye of Celina, Ohio, Terry Bingham and wife Sheila of Corbin, Costello Bingham, Jr. of Corbin, Peggy Taylor of Keavy, Damon Bingham and wife April of Fariston, Kentucky, Kimberly Witt and husband Buzz of Corbin and Tiffany Dempsey and husband Frankie of Greenup, Kentucky. He also leaves behind twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren along with a host of many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Costello Bingham will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Joe Morgan and Rev. Martin Robinson officiating. Pallbearers will be, Eric Bingham, Terry Bingham, Jr., Keith Gray, Scott Bingham, Willie Taylor and Joey Taylor. He will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery beside his wife Eunice. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 12:00 noon.
