Mrs. Conchita Walker Clark, age 76 of Barbourville was born in Barbourville, KY on June 18, 1943 to the late Howard and Elizabeth Dorsey Walker and departed this life on Sunday, December 15, 2019 in the Saint Joseph Hospital of London. She was a member of Living Waters Pentecostal Church and enjoyed fishing, going to bingo, going to church, making people smile, and time with family especially the grandchildren.
In addition to her parents,Her stepfather : William ” Daddy Bill ” White, her husband: Mitchell “Shorty” Clark; a son: James Daniel Walker; a sister: Annette Walker; and lifelong companion and friend: Richard Vaughn preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving children: Devonda Joann Clark-Crowders and husband Tony of Lexington, Elizabeth Ann Walker, and Sheri Lynn Walker both of Florida, Jeffrey Lee Clark, Randy Garrett Clark and friend Amy Hoskins and children, and Lewis Allen Walker all of Barbourville, and John Ray Walker and wife Jennifer of Lexington; a brother: William Scott White and wife Judy of Newport Beach, VA; 6 grandchildren: Rodgerick, Garrett Devon, Bethany, Marion, Tyrence, and Madison; 11 great grandchildren: Carley Shay, Aubrey, Na’Riahe, Nah’lani, Peyton, Braxton, Noah, Grayson, Aribella, Aden, and Donte; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Conchita Clark will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Randy Clark and Rev. Wayne Holder officiating. Burial will follow in the Tanyard Cemetery with Kenny Hughes, Landon Hughes, Michael Johnson, Tim Longsworth, Mike Scott, and Exavier Gregory serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
