Mr. Clyde Sizemore Jr., 68, of Barbourville, passed away Saturday morning, May 25, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was the son of the late Clyde Sizemore Sr. and Ruby Mills Sizemore born on June 30, 1955 in Barbourville.
Clyde was a former coal miner and truck driver and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and watching television.
On September 15, 2020, he united in marriage with Irene Lewis in Pineville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Daylan Sizemore.
Survivors include his loving wife, Irene Sizemore of Barbourville; children, Jennifer Senters and husband, Richard, of Barbourville, Billy Brock and wife, Candace, of Harlan County and Bobby Brock and Brian Brock both of Barbourville; three sisters, Betty Burton and husband, Sonny, of Bimble, Carol Harmon and husband, Tony, of Florida and Kathy Gray and husband, James, of Artemus; grandchildren, Brayden and Jasper Brock and Makayla Olsen; a great granddaughter, Eleanor Olsen; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A graveside service will be conducted in the Sizemore – Gray Cemetery Tuesday, May 28 at 3 P.M. with Rev. Michael Wagers officiating.
Casket bearers will be family and friends. Sonny Burton and Jerry Lewis will serve as honorary bearers.
Family and friends will gather at the cemetery Tuesday prior to the service time.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
