Chris Lloyd Gray, age 55 of Hinkle was born in Lexington, KY on April 30, 1965 to Chris Gray and the late Lillie Osborne Gray, and departed this life on March 12, 2021 at his home. He was of the Holiness Faith and enjoyed Logging, riding 4-wheelers, and time with family and friends, especially the children and grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, 2 brothers: Eddie Osborne and Henry Gray; and father and mother in laws: John T and Elsie Marion preceded him in death.
Chris is survived by his wife: Reda Lou Gray of Hinkle; his father: Chris Gray and wife June of Flat Lick; his children: Jennifer Gray and Burly Blanton of Bailey Switch, Christopher Gray and Jeff Gray both of Hinkle; a stepbrother: Junior Evans; 2 stepsisters: Barb Gray and Lena Davidson and husband Shannon all of Flat Lick; 8 grandchildren: Camron Gray, Coby Gray, Mackenzie Gray, Jayden Meyers, Lucas Blanton, Zoey Gray, Tabias Blanton, and Lilliann Gray; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Chris Gray will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Charles Bright, Rev. Glen Collins, and Rev. Anthony Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Hammons Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Monday Evening from 6 to 9 P.M., Tuesday from 10 A.M. to 9 P.M. and Wednesday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 1. Due to the continuing COVID-19 Pandemic, and new regulations from our Governor on gatherings all who attend will be required to wear face mask and practice Social Distancing.
