Charlotte Swanner Berry, age 61, of London, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020.
She leaves behind her husband, Chuck Powers; her mother, Janie Overbay Swanner; two sons, Alexander Berry & wife Marcy of London, KY and Dylan Berry & wife Kristin of Lexington, KY; three stepchildren, Bryan Powers & wife Jamie of Dewey, AZ, Sam Powers of Portland, OR and Mary Audrey Powers of Portland, OR; four siblings, Tommy Swanner & wife Nancy, Dana Swanner Minton & husband Mac Greg Swanner, Lisa Swanner Parker & husband Steve, all of London, KY, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Burton Swanner.
Charlotte was a retired school teacher from the Laurel County School System and was also a cosmetologist. She was of the Baptist faith. Charlotte loved animals and music.
A memorial service for Charlotte Swanner Berry will be held on Monday, September 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Jamie Maxey officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 7, 2020 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the service hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
