Charles Robert Mills age 42 of Barbourville was born in Knox County, KY on August 4, 1982 to the late David Jordan and Teresa Mills and departed this life on August 20, 2024 in the Baptist Health of Lexington Hospital. He was of the Pentecostal Faith and enjoyed playing Basketball, watching football and wrestling, playing Video Games, reading the Bible, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his father: David Jordan; his grandparents: Denver and Gladys Mills; an uncle: Denver Brown; an aunt: Brenda Honeycutt; and a cousin: Dallas Shields preceded him in death.
Robert is survived by his loving mother: Teresa Mills of Barbourville; a daughter: Deandra Mills of Barbourville; 4 sisters: Stephanie Mills, and Patricia Jordan and Jason McVey all of Barbourville, Brenda Shupe and Joey Carter of Artemus, and Debbie Lowe and husband Tristian of Girdler; a special brother-in-law: Brandon Shupe of Barbourville; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Mills will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 8:00 PM with Rev. Leslie Broughton officiating. Burial will be private to the family. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home Friday Evening from 6 PM to the funeral hour at 8.
