Charles Edward Cox, age 66 of Flat Lick, was born in Bell County, KY on May 14, 1955 to the late William Henry and Verda Maudie Taylor Cox and departed this life on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at his home. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed being outside, watching UK Wildcats and the Dallas Cowboys, watching TV with his daughter, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, 3 brothers: Larry Cox, Michael Cox, and Jerry “Rabbit” Cox preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife: Tiffany Cox of Flat Lick; his children: Kendra Cox and fiancé Adam Couch of Ocala, FL, Fredia Kellie Johnson of MI, Vince Sizemore and wife Cathy of NC, and George Sizemore and fiancé Brianna King of Flat Lick; a sister: Wanda Johnson and husband Kelly (who Charles looked on as a brother) of Flat Lick, KY; 5 grandchildren; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Cox will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Mike Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Cox Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
