Barbourville, Ky. – Caleb Robert Wayne Wagner, 21, passed away August 12, 2021. Caleb was the son of Angie Mills Wagner and Larry Wayne Wagner, joyfully born to them on September 3, 1999, in Knox County. Caleb was raised in the community of Bimble. He was a member of Southeast Baptist Church. Caleb graduated from Knox Central High School and held a Certificate in Carpentry. He worked for Wagner Construction.
Caleb will forever be remembered for his outgoing personality, sense of humor, and loving heart. People were important to Caleb, especially his friends and family. He enjoyed helping others and making people laugh. Caleb loved animals as well, especially his cat Buster. In his spare time, Caleb enjoyed fishing, hunting, and fixing up old trucks. When hanging out with friends, two of his favorite things to do were 4 Wheeling and Mudding – those who knew him well know, when mudding, Caleb liked to go “straight through the middle of the mudhole” – because what could be more fun and cause more laughter than that.
Caleb was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Daisy “Isom” Mills and Robert Mills and his paternal grandparents, Betty “Epperson” Wagner and Jessie Wagner.
Left behind to mourn his passing are his parents, Angie Mills Wagner and Larry Wayne Wagner, and his brother Larry Aden Wagner. Special cousin, Anthony Gray, as well as, a host of many other special cousins, cherished family members, and dear friends, too numerous to list, survive Caleb and will miss him greatly.
