Mr. Brandon Lee Saunders, 37, of Barbourville, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 23, 2025 at his home. He was born May 15, 1987 in Knox County, the son of Eness Collins and Betty Saunders Jones.
Brandon was a member of the Boone Height Pentecostal Church and served with both the East Knox Volunteer Fire Department and the Artemus Volunteer Fire and Rescue. He enjoyed scrolling Tik Tok and spending time with his family.
On September 5, 2017, he united in marriage with Tonya Johnson.
Survivors include his loving wife, Tonya Saunders of Barbourville; his parents, Eness Collins of Barbourville and Betty Jones and husband, Jimmy, of Heidrick; children, Christy and Hannah Collins both of Barbourville; brothers, Steve Saunders and wife, Melissa, of Barbourville, John Saunders and wife, Jamie, of Bell County and Albert Saunders and wife, Hope, of Whitley County; nephews, Christian, Geremy, Hayden and Corbin Saunders; parents-in-law, Kenneth and Claudine Johnson of Corbin; a niece, Lakenzie Wagers; honorary nephew, Droopy; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Monday, April 28 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Charles Henson and Rev. Eric Jordan officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
The family requests, with gratitude, contributions to the Knox Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
