Mrs. Bonnie Sue Jackson Valentine, age 73 of Cannon was born in Cannon, KY on March 26, 1946 to the late Dirl Clayton Jackson and Ethel Crawford Jackson and departed this life on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at her home. She was a member of Sinking Valley Baptist Church and enjoyed Quilting, Crocheting, Reading, playing video games with her nephews, and time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, her husband: Elvy Valentine; a son: Brian Keith Valentine; 2 sisters: Martha Elizabeth Jackson and Wilma Marie McWilliams; and 3 brothers-in-laws: Leroy McWilliams, Randall Willis, and Finley Valentine preceded her in death.
Bonnie is survived by her loving son: Marvin Wayne Valentine of Cannon; a brother: Dirl Clayton Jackson, Jr. and wife Janice of Barbourville; a sister Maggie Bernice Willis of Cannon; special aunt: Eula Jackson of Gray Hawk, KY; a sister-in-law: Mickey Valentine; other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Bonnie Valentine will be conducted on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. in the Sinking Valley Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Morris and Rev. Johnny Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Willis-Brooks Cemetery with Charles Willis, Tad Willis, Josh Lawson, Chris Lawson, Dink Garland, and Todd Hurley serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Sinking Valley Missionary Baptist Church Tuesday from 6 to 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 1.
