Obituary for Bonnie Sue Caddell (1952-2020)

Mrs. Bonnie Sue Caddell, 68, of Barbourville, the widow of Rev. Earl Caddell, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late L. C. and Viola Hobbs Brown born on June 15, 1952 in Knox County.

Bonnie was a homemaker and a member of the Hazel Fork Holiness Church.  She enjoyed attending and serving her church as well as reading the Bible and scrapbooking.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sandy Caddell; a grandson, Bradlee Sizemore; two sisters, Geraldine Longsworth and Lonnie Rhodes and brothers, Jessie, Wayne, Powion, Ricky and Harold Brown.

Survivors include her children, Brenda Caddell Patterson and husband, Rev. Buster, of Corbin, James Earl Caddell and Rhonda Walters of Barbourville and Angela Fuson and husband, Gary, of Trosper; three grandchildren, Autum Ford, Gary Michael Fuson and Brentston Sizemore; five sisters, Patricia Longsworth and husband, Perry, of Girdler, Tressie Smith and Beatrice Hamilton both of Bimble, Judy Scott of Barbourville and Mary Scott of London; five brothers, Jerry Brown and wife, Carolyn, of Barbourville, David Brown and wife, Sandy, of Artemus, Michael Scott and wife, Margarett, of Girdler, Charles Scott and David Scott both of Barbourville; among other loved ones and dear friends.

Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, February 22 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Jon Morris and Rev. Eddie King officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Gray Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be James Castle, J. B. Castle, Sam Castle and James Jordan.  Honorary bearers will be her church family.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Saturday prior to the funeral hour.

Expressions of sympathy may go to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
