Ms. Bonnie Lou Mills, 65, of Heidrick, passed away Monday afternoon, July 22, 2024 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Margie Marie Trent Mills born on August 8, 1958 in Knox County.
Bonnie was a former truck driver and of the Christian faith. She was a person to never be “messed” with and could be contrary. Bonnie enjoyed her animals and respected all living creatures. She also enjoyed time to herself, reading, watching old movies, listening to music and gambling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John D. “Punkin” Brock Jr.; a sister, Kathleen Ann Owens and a brother, Larry Steven Mills.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Angela Marie Brock of Breeding; siblings, Jerry Dwayne Mills and wife, Sue, of Kettle Island, Dwight Toleman Mills, Patricia Sue Jackson and husband, Randy, Joey Allan Mills and Cindy K. Ambach and husband, Greg, all of Barbourville, Fred Mills Jr. of Manchester and Jimmy Darrell Mills and wife, Cindy, of Davis Bend; six grandchildren, Cristy Marie Asher, Shannon Brock, Shane Allen Asher, J. D. Brock III, Emily Brock and Brandon Brock; several great grandchildren; a special nephew who was “her boy”, Trent Ambach; among other loved ones and dear friends.
At this time, no services are planned.
