Obituary for Bonnie Lou Hall (1959-2020)

Mrs. Bonnie Lou Hall, age 61 of Flat Lick, KY was ushered into the Holy Presence of our Savior on December 27, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center after a courageous battle.

Bonnie was born September 14, 1959 in Pineville, KY to the late Lee Ramey and Mable Sizemore.

She married her loving husband, John Hall. After becoming a wife and mother, Bonnie chased her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University. Her career as a nurse allowed her to touch many lives with her love and kindness. It also opened the door to many lifelong friendships. God used her to touch the lives in all areas of nursing as an advocate for her patients as a comfort for their families. Nurse Bonnie has touched many lives that forever keep the nursing standards high.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Lee Ramey; two brothers Lee Ramey Jr., and Jacky Lyn Ramey.

Left to celebrate Bonnie’s life, her husband John Hall of 46 years; two children Jonathan Hall and Joni Hall; three grandchildren Charles Hall, Landon Frye, and Jaycee Frye; Her mother Mable Sizemore; sister Carolyn Mills; four brothers, Charles Ramey Sr., Marshall Ramey (Dorlene) Johnny Ramey (Jaquetta) and Roger Ramey. A host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Bonnie enjoyed every moment with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was totally dedicated to her children in all aspects of their lives. She had a passion for traveling, especially to the beach. Bonnie had a bright and energetic personality and known for the smile on her face.

The family will celebrate her life on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 6-9 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home and on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 2PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Bro. David Rice officiating: burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Corbin, KY with Charles Ramey Jr., Blake Ramey, Jacky Ramey Jr., and Robert Jordan as pallbearers. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hall family.
