Bobby G. Marcum, age 81 of Barbourville was born in Trosper, KY on February 5, 1940 to the late Bersee and Lillie Goley Marcum Lickliter and departed this life on February 1, 2022 in the St. Joseph of London Hospital. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a Foreman in the Coal Mines, enjoyed fishing, Squirrel hunting, and time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, 3 brothers: Andy Hembree, Andrew Marcum, and Jim D Marcum; and 2 sisters: Blanche Jackson and Viola Collins preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving children: Gary Marcum and Barbara Jean Marcum-Painter and husband Daniel all of St. Louis, MO, Bobbie Sasko and husband Chris of Williamsburg, KY, and Brandy Roark of Barbourville; many Grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Bobby Marcum will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Chris Sasko officiating. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
