Billy Jo Brison, age 59, of Barbourville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at St. Joseph East in Lexington, KY.
Born in Corbin, she was a daughter of the late Steely Coyt Rapier and Geneva Cox Rapier. Billie was a woman of faith and enjoyed attending church. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and having her whole family together.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven sisters, Alma Shelby, Betty Jackson, Donna Hall, Mary Finch, Ollie Lowe, Loraine Miller, and Judy Mae Rapier.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Brison, four children, Daniel Hinkle, Chris Brison, Donna Lawson, and Katherine Hensley, seven grandchildren, two sisters, Joyce Rapier Debusk and Elaine Deemer, a brother, Steely Rapier, and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12-2pm on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Josh Griffith officiating.
Burial will follow at Lawson Cemetery in Knox County, KY.
