Mr. Billie Mills Sr., 62, of Cannon, the widower of Angela Mills, passed away Tuesday evening, April 12, 2022 at his home. He was the son of Lucy Jackson Mills and the late Frank Mills born on September 20, 1959 in Knox County.
Billie was a carpenter and of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing in his spare time.
In addition to his father and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Billy Mills Jr.; a sister, Lisa Mills and a brother, A. G. Mills.
Survivors include his loving mother, Lucy Mills of Cannon; two children, Margaret Roark and husband, Derrick, of Flat Lick and Jeremy Mills and wife, Kayla, of Woollum; two sisters, Mary Ann Richards and husband, Ted, of Houston, TX and Christine Mills of Cannon; a brother, Bobby Nathan Mills of Cannon; several grandchildren; two great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, April 16 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Tommy Frazier and Rev. Roy Eversole officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Eversole Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Jeremy Mills, Brady Mills, Derrick Roark, Michael Hudson, Bobby Nathan Mills, Benny Edwards, Chris Carnes and Josh Hubbard.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
Expressions of sympathy may go to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
