Beverly Denise Jordan age 56 of Barbourville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday December 8, 2024 at her home. She was born in Knox County, Kentucky to Garrett and Elaine Brown Gray.
She was preceded in death by an infant son Roger Garrett Thomas Jordan and infant daughter Tina Sherrie Jordan , a special nephew Garrett Wayne Shelton, grandparents Myrtle and Dewey Brown, and Lee and Clara Gray, father-in-law Thomas Jordan, and best friend Susan Bright Keck.
She is survived by her loving husband Roger Jordan of 41 years, daughter Dr. Kasey Hoskins DSW (Joseph), parents Garrett and Elaine Gray, sister Glenda(Wayne) Shelton, grandchildren Collin and Braxton Gray, niece Holly(Matt) Polliard, great niece Piper and great nephew Heath, and a host of nieces and nephews family and friends.
Beverly’s favorite things in life were her grandchildren Collin and Braxton, her proudest moment as as mother was watching her daughter Kasey get her Doctorate Degree, she loved to cook, always trying out new recipes, she loved to travel to the beach, she loved to swim she also loved to shop, her favorite food was fried chicken and coleslaw, but nothing ever compared to her mammas chicken and dumplings. Roger was her biggest supporter they loved to watch TV shows their favorites being Survivor and The Andy Griffith Show, but most of all she loved her church Bethesda Baptist, her church family was family.
Funeral service for Beverly Jordan will be conducted on Friday December 13, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Roy Gray Cemetery. The family of Beverly Jordan will receive friends on Wednesday December 11, 2024 from 6-9 p.m., Thursday December 12, 2024 from 4-9 p.m., Friday December 13,2024 from Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. at the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home.
