Betty Ruth Frederick Williams Broughton, age 59 of Artemus was born in Knox County, KY on June 5, 1963 to the Robert Vernon and Laura Golden Frederick and departed this life on November 6, 2022 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital. She was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed working puzzle books, and time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, her 1st husband: Joey Joe Williams; 2nd husband: Billy Wayne Broughton; a stepson: BJ Broughton; 3 brothers: Bo Frederick, Ronnie Randall Frederick, and Arnold Frederick; 2 infant Siblings; 3 sisters: Donna Sprinkles, and the twins Linda and Brenda Frederick preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving children: Misty Grant of Boone Heights, Joe Williams of Knox County, and Robert Alden Williams and wife Jessica Nicole of Artemus; 2 brothers: Wayne Frederick of Flat Lick, and Kenny Frederick and wife Lovella of Dewitt; 4 sisters: Ann Woolum and husband Don and Kay McVey and husband Charlie all of Girdler, Karen West and husband Terry of Walker Park, and Janice Kelly of Cincinnati, OH; 2 stepsisters: Jodi Broughton, and Summer Broughton all of London; 22 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Betty Broughton will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 8:00 P.M. with Rev. Les Broughton officiating. Burial will be private to the family. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
