Bertha June Goley, age 82, of Gray, Kentucky, passed away on Friday August 19, 2022, at her home in Gray.
She was born in Pineville, KY, and was a retired cook from Lynn Camp High School. June was an active and longtime member of Daysprings Worship Center in Corbin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Sadie Howell, daughter, Connie Nelson and husband James, great grandson, Ethan Ward, and by six brothers and a sister.
June is survived by her three sons, Scott Goley (Shaunel), Ray Goley, and Martin Goley (Vicki Garrison), daughter, Robbie Goley (Roger Moore), grandchildren, Matthew Nelson, Cody Nelson, Ricky Wilburn (Shannin), Collin Goley, Hunter Goley, and Brandi Ward (James), great grandchildren, Brayden Ward, Brooklyn Ward, Trinity and Taylin Terrell and their father Tommy, Jaylyn Wilburn, Breann Jenkins, and Kortlin, Wilburn, brother, Harold Howell (Mary), and by all of her church family.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Thursday August 25, 2022, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Funeral service for June Goley will be held at 1pm on Friday August 26th with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.
Burial will follow in the Goley Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky.
