Bernette Bowling, age 49, of Manchester, KY Was born on March 14, 1971 to the late Lester Smith and Eula Mae Wagers Smith and departed this life on Monday, August 31, 2020 in the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. She was of the Church of God Faith and enjoyed fishing, watching old horror movies, riding 4- wheelers, and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her father: Lester Smith; a grandson: Michael James Roberts preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving mother: Eula Mae Smith of Manchester, KY; 2 sons: Gary Dewayne Bowling and Audrey, and Gilbert James Bowling all of Manchester; 2 daughters: Martha Mae Bowing and Bradley, and Tasha Renee Hoskins and Glen all of Manchester; 1 brother: Lester Junior Smith of Manchester; 1 sister: Anette Carr of Manchester; 9 grandchildren: Jasmine, Conner, Leslie, Riley Faye, Anthony, Carson, Mason, Garrett, and Paisley; Other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bernette Bowling will be conducted Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 3P.M. at the Manchester Church of God in Christs Mission in Manchester, Kentucky with Rev. Kathleen Wagers & Rev. Amanda Jackson officiating. Internment will follow in the Jackson-Wagers Cemetery. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Manchester Church of God in Christs Mission from 1 P.M. until the funeral hour of 3 P.M. Due to the continuing COVID-19 PANDEMIC, the family has requested all visitors wear face masks and practice social distancing.
