Mr. Bennie Michael Evans, 65, of Barbourville, passed away Wednesday morning, July 20, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was the son of the late Hoyt and Dorothy Callebs Evans born on May 29, 1957 in Pineville.
Mike was a former machinist with Tru-Seal and a member of the Roadside Baptist Church. He was a former member of the Jaycees and enjoyed classic cars, car shows, spending time with family and friends and going to the beach.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Eddie, Larry and David.
Survivors include three sisters, Madge Carnes and husband, McCoy, of Marion, IN, Charlotte Click and Karen Moore and husband, Ronnie, all of Barbourville; two nieces; five nephews; special friends, Dennis Mills and Frank Hubbard; among other loved ones and dear friends.
A memorial service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, July 30 at 7 P.M. with Rev. James Vandy officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday after 6 P.M. until the service time.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
