Obituary for Bennie “Butch” Pridemore (1948-2021)

Mr. Bennie “Butch” Pridemore age 72 of Artemus, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. He was born on October 25, 1948 in Kay Jay the son of Willie and Nola (Bain) Pridemore. He was a member of the Brush Creek Community Church and enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar and spending time with family and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Freda, his parents, Willie and Nola, one sister, Judy Ann Weimer and one brother, Jack Pridemore.

Left behind to mourn his passing, his three sons, Jeff Pridemore and wife Heather of Lawrenceburg, Mark Pridemore and wife Ronda of Woodbine and Jamie Pridemore and wife April of Corbin, one brother, Rufus Pridemore of Covington and one sister, Shirley Pridemore of Michigan, seven grandchildren, Aster Mills and wife Michelle, Tucker Pridemore and wife Kayla, Christina Saylor, Tasha Cureton, Shawn Pridemore, Emily Pridemore and Bailey Pridemore, six great grandchildren, Meighan Mills, Matthew Mills, Cotton Vanover, Parker Thomas, Easton Pridemore and Benjamin Thomas. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Bennie Pridemore will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Johnny Saylor officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends. He will be laid to rest in the Sutton-Skinner Cemetery at Woodbine. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:30 until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 2:00.
