Mr. Beckham Taylor, Jr. age 53 of Barbourville departed this life on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at his home. He was the son of Beckham Taylor, Sr. and the late Dora (Doan) Taylor born to them on March 18, 1971 in Pineville, Kentucky. He believed in the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed working, fishing and loved helping people.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dora Doan Taylor, two uncles, Rev. Harvey Lee Taylor and James Taylor, one uncle by marriage, William Gray, his grandparents, Andrew and Linda Castle Taylor and Andrew and Judy Miller Doan.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his father, Beckham Taylor, Sr., two aunts, Christine Taylor Bersok and husband Bob of Somerset and Elizabeth Doan Taylor of Barbourville, one uncle, Willie (Jack) Doan and wife Teresa of Bimble along with a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Taylor will be conducted on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Charles Lee and Willie Doan officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Taylor, Dillon Taylor, Austin Taylor, Caden Taylor, Keith Gray and Alan Leddington. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m.
