Amy Lenae Gambrel Gregory age 33, a resident of Flat Lick, KY went home to be with her heavenly father, July 17, 2020 at UK Bluegrass Hospice center in Lexington, KY after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 25, 1987 in Barbourville, KY to Bobby Gambrel and Vickie Long. Amy loved to travel and see the world and she loved the beach. Amy loved her job and the people she worked with; she was passionate about fitness and loved the Flex fitness members. Amy most of all loved her lord and savior.
Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents Stanley and Rosa Henson and Tom and Christlene Gambrel; mother-in-law whom she loved dearly, Carolyn Sue Gregory; her sweet baby Mia and son-in-law Justin Clontz.
Left to mourn her passing, her husband of 10 years Michael Gregory whom she loved, they were together for 13 years and were married on September 19, 2009; parents Bobby Gambrel and Vickie Long; brother James Gambrel and his wife whom she called her sissy, Wendy Gambrel; step-daughters Brittany Gregory Clontz and Taylor Gregory; grandson Weston Brent Clontz; father-in-law Freddie Michael Gregory; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and many friends.
Funeral services will be Sunday, July 19, 2020 at 4PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Chesnut and Bro. Pat Chesnut; burial will follow in The Gregory-Slusher cemetery, Fourmile, KY, with her husband Michael Gregory, Greg Carmony, D.J Dehart, Lee Croley, James Keith, Mike Beaty and George Brock as pallbearers.
