Mrs. Amanda Jean Lester, 36, of Callebs Creek, passed away Saturday morning, January 1, 2022 at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. She was the daughter of Terry Alvin and Vina Jordan Price born on January 30, 1985 in Lexington.
Amanda was a homemaker and attended Grace Fellowship in London and was known to be a prayer warrior. She was an artist and enjoyed her pets, Leo, Coco and Pete. Her greatest joy in life was being a wife and mother.
On May 14, 2004, she united in marriage with Jeremy W. Lester and to this union a son was born.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Darlene Standifer.
Survivors include her loving husband, Jeremy W. Lester of Callebs Creek; her parents, Terry and Vina Price of Callebs Creek; her dearly loved son, Ethan Wayne Lester of Callebs Creek; three sisters, Vickie Carnes and husband, Phillip, and Tonya Reeves all of Cannon and Tara Price of Callebs Creek; step-father-in-law, Terry Standifer of Corbin; aunts, Donna Miracle and Penny Martin both of Corbin; three special nephews, Chris Noel, Dr. Chase Noel and Jathan Caldwell; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Saturday, January 8 at 1 P.M. with Pastor Dale Campbell and Rev. Vernon Morris officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Price Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Anthony Standifer, Tom Thacker, Doyle Lester, Stevie Price, Jathan Caldwell and Chris Noel.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday between 6 and 8 P.M. and Saturday prior to the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of Knox Funeral Home.
The family requests that all visitors wear a facial covering and practice social distancing during the visitation and funeral service.
