Mr. Algin Ray Cain, age 38 of Artemus was born in Harlan, KY on March 15, 1983 to Vernon and Linda Perkins Cain and departed this life on March 9, 2022 at his home. He was a member of Artemus Baptist Church and enjoyed rebuilding cars and motorcycles, digging roots, caring for his children, and time with family and friends. He loved people and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Algin and Millie Cain; and his maternal grandparents: Donald Perkins and Dorothy Pruitt.
Algin is survived by his loving parents: Vernon and Linda Cain of Artemus; 2 daughters: Brooke Bargo and Kendra Bargo both of Girdler; a brother: Harvey Cain of Artemus; a special nephew: Douglas “Bub” Middleton of Artemus; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Mr. Algin Cain will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Albert Phillips and Rev. J. C. Grubb officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the Barbourville Funeral Home Sunday from 6 to 9 P.M. and Monday from 10:00 A.M. to the funeral hour at 2.
