KSP Makes Human Trafficking Arrest in Knox County

Barbourville, KY. (February 12, 2020) – The Kentucky State Police, Harlan Post has charged two individuals with sexual related offenses as a result of an investigation in Knox County.

The initial investigation alleges Justin Adams, 22 years old of Barbourville, and Angel Honeycutt, 19 years old of Barbourville, engaged in illegal sexual acts with a minor. As a result of the ongoing they were arrested today, and are lodged in the Knox County Detention Center. Justin Adams is charged with Human Trafficking U/18, Distribution of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor 1st Offense, Rape 2nd Degree, and Use of a Minor U/18 in a Sexual Performance. Angel Honeycutt is charged with Human Trafficking U/18 and Distribution of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor 1st Offense.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 10 Detective Jake Wilson.
