ARH Surgery Associates and Barbourville ARH Hospital welcome General Surgeon Jerry Woolum, MD, to its medical staff.
Well known in Bell, Knox and Harlan counties, Dr. Woolum earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky School of Medicine, and completed his general surgery residency also at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky.
Dr. Woolum specializes in advanced laparoscopic procedures including gallbladder removal, appendectomies, hernia repair and breast, colon and rectal cancer surgeries. He also performs colonoscopies, endoscopies and wound care.
