Barbourville High School Softball places seven on the 2019 SKCA All Academic Team; Jones, Poff bring home multiple other awards.
The Barbourville High School Softball team has placed seven players on the 2019 SKCA All Academic Softball Team. Seniors Mary Gray and Autumn Hamilton were presented 1st Team honors while Senior Megan Poff brought home a 2nd Team honor. This is the second consecutive year that they have made the team. Juniors Ally Daniels, Alexis Helton, Grace Jones and Lucy Robinson all made the 1st Team.
Head Coach Derick Poff said, “This award is for Juniors and Seniors that have played in 50% of the team’s games and had a GPA of 3.5 or above to qualify, and these ladies made the top 2 Teams.”

Megan Poff was selected to the 2019 KY Prep East/West All Star Team where they competed from teams from regions all over the state; Megan was also selected to the 2019 SKCA 13th Region All Star Team, who competed and defeated the teams from the 14th & 16th Regions to capture the title; She was also selected to the 2019 All SKCA 13 Region 1st Team.Advertisement
